Retreat/Toiletry Bag

The Retreat Bag is a simple zippered pouch with a wide base and a wide structured opening. There is a casing in the top where you insert two wire frames (one on each side), which helps it stay open. It has two optional slip pockets inside and a long zipper that helps it open wide.
This is a three-session workshop, each session is 3 hours. Cost INCLUDES materials to make 1 retreat bag with waxed canvas! Basic sewing supplies - scissors, clips, rulers, iron/board, thread - provided, BYO or rent a sewing machine from me, $35 for all 3 sessions.

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn sewing basics including pinning or clipping fabric, sewing a straight seam, pressing and turning fabric and boxing a corner.
This is a single-session class lasting 2.5 hours, allowing ample time for instruction and hands-on practice.
All the materials you need to make one fabric basket are included in your registration.
BYO or rent a sewing machine. Basic sewing supplies such as fabric scissors, clips, rulers, iron/board are provided.

Personalized Tote Bag

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to sew while you create a personalized tote bag.
This is a single-session class lasting up to 2.5 hours, allowing ample time for instruction and hands-on practice.
All the materials you need to make one tote bag are included in your registration. The front panel of the exterior will be personalized. Everything is ready to sew!
BYO or rent a sewing machine. Basic sewing supplies such as fabric scissors, clips, rulers, iron/board are provided.

Always wanted to sew but need a little boost of confidence to get started? Do you have a sewing machine that is gathering dust that you would love to use? Brush off the guilt and the would-like-to blues and dive in! Small group or 1:1 lessons are a great way to get un-stuck. We will go over sewing basics, and start a small project within the space of 1 hour.
How many lessons do I need? It’s really up to you! Brand new beginners, likely 2-3 lessons to really get comfortable. Advanced beginners or those just wanting a reminder and a few pointers - one lesson should do just fine.

Dakota Tote

You will continue your sewing journey and create a beautiful tote bag using a beautiful pattern from Sotak Handmade. You will get LOTS of practice installing zippers!
This is a four-session workshop, each session lasts up to 3 hours. Registration cost INCLUDES all the materials you will need to sew your own Dakota Tote. BYO or rent a sewing machine. Basic sewing supplies such as fabric scissors, clips, rulers, iron/board are provided.
$265 | This class is ideal for advanced beginners and intermediate sewists.
